Ridley Scott and Tony Scott has produced this remake for TV which will be aired in two episodes. “A U.S. satellite crash-lands near a small town in Utah, unleashing a deadly plague that kills virtually everyone except two survivors - an old man and an infant, who may provide clues to immunizing the population.” Check out the trailer

The original movie is very good, one of the first movie I saw with a … different ending. Look promising this trailer. Scott & Scott may have something here.
