Lionsgate has released a teaser for the new Jessica Alba film The Eye. This is a remake of the Hong Kong remake of the film Gin Gwai, where a blind woman gets cornea transplant, only to find out she can see the dead.

It looks amazing but the choice of director for this kind of mastodon fantasy doesn’t really impress me. In my eyes, Chris Weitz has a lot to prove, considering his previous work as a director.
