Posted on 13:06 Dec. 29th 2007 by Bjorn No Comments »

Will Farrell continues his long career of playing a dumb-ass on film, this time in the basketball comedy Semi Pro. This trailer is labelled “red band”, which means it contains some dirty words, like “fuck”, “blow job” and “orgy”.

Pop Skull

Posted on 17:24 Dec. 28th 2007 by Bjorn 1 Comment »

Shot on an extremely low budget, Pop Skull is a little horror movie that is getting a lot of rave at the moment. In this complex melt of art film and ghost story, a young man addicted to pills has difficulty to cope with his daily life as it’s increasingly influenced by murderous spirits.

Orson Welles in The Witching

Posted on 15:47 Dec. 26th 2007 by Bjorn No Comments »

Forever an important part of movie (and radio) history, Orson Welles also starred in several movies of questionable quality later in his career. The Witching (aka Necromancy) will probably not go into history as one of his greatest.

Funny horror movie trailers from the 70s

Posted on 12:35 Dec. 25th 2007 by Bjorn 1 Comment »

This is a collection of trailers that were intended to be scary and tease the viewer to go see the movie. Instead they are so over the top and typical of the 70s era that the only reaction they can provoke today is laughter. Click play to see some stunning footage from unknown classics like Lady Frankenstein, Beyond the darkness, Beyond the door, The night child, The legend of the wolf woman, Orgy of the living dead and The night Evelyn came out of the grave.

Merry Christmas to you all!

Posted on 10:43 Dec. 24th 2007 by Bjorn 1 Comment »

We have arrived at the earth cycle position that I used to loathe the most. Yes boys and girls, it’s Christmas time once again. These days I have learned to simply accept it and go with the flow. It does get easier with age, just as they said it would. Today’s clip is the fucking short version of the best Christmas film ever made - Bad Santa. Enjoy!

Posted on 21:52 Dec. 23rd 2007 by Bjorn No Comments »

Coraline is based on a short children’s story by Neil Gaiman . It is a stop motion film made in 3D and we will have to wait for at least a year until it is finished. From IMDB: “Coraline is a young bored girl who discovers that bricked-up wall behind a door in her flat leads to another world, with another mother, and another father.”

Shadow Dead Riot

Posted on 12:23 Dec. 23rd 2007 by Bjorn No Comments »

This looks like an old grindhouse movie but it was actually released in 2006 and is available on DVD. Shadow Dead Riot, starring Tony Todd, is an over the top kung fu horror movie in a womans prison. Female blood awakens a serial killer from secret burial grounds. Lots of BGT in is trailer (Blood, Gore and Tits).

Zombie horror in Spanish [REC]

Posted on 15:40 Dec. 21st 2007 by Bjorn 1 Comment »

Barcelona, Spain is the scene of this new shocker, filmed in a documentary style. A small crew of firefighters are called to an apartment of an old woman who has locked herself in. Thinking it will be another standard job, they soon find out differently as everything goes completely amok. Sensitive people be warned. This teaser is kinda scary. :)
