Two time Oscar nominee Lasse Hallström directs the first episode of New Amsterdam which will air in 2008. The story revolves around New York detective Johan Amsterdam which is granted imortality by a native Indian girl in 1642.

Looks like it could be really good… Please don’t have an ending ready tho… No new LOST soap FFS!!
