I found this really nice mashup on Slashfilm today. It’s a trailer for 1986 comedy Ferris Bueller’s Day Off with the well known epic soundtrack from Requiem for a Dream on top. The end result gives the impression of deep drama - completely different from the original film which is a typical 80’s light hearted comedy.

Some people just got too much spare time. Someone that calls himself Dr. E. Bola has put together a really cool short film using clips from classic Sci Fi movies like Star Wars, Contact and Armageddon. The trailer is below and all the parts can be found on Youtube.

John Hughes directed the original in 1986 featuring Matthew Broderick in an early role. This trailer however translates this rather innocent comedy into a menacing thriller/horror flick.

This mockup trailer is only funny if you have seen the original Glengarry Glen Ross from 1992. I’ve seen it so for me this is simply hilarious. It’s a completely misleading trailer about grownup men with tourette’s syndrom. :)
Gnolad is a video blog put together by me, Bjorn Fogelberg. Here I will show you what I think are the best and the worst movie trailers and clips from yesterday and today.
Modern blockbusters, low budget, sci fi, grindhouse, blaxploitation, horror, mock-ups, comedy, 70s, 80s, or just plain stupid stuff.
