Ben Affleck has never been one of my favourite actors (Actually I think his acting sucks), but apparently, his forthcoming directional debut is getting a lot of praise. It’s about Boston area detectives investigating a little girl’s kidnapping.
This clip is just two weeks old and already an internet classic. Darth Vader and his son in a really deep moment. Simply hilarious!
Anthony Hopkins wrote the script, directed, wrote the music (!) and plays a central part in Slipstream. And yes, there are already four other films with that same name and I have seen two of the most recent. I sincerely hope that Mr Hopkins version is better, and judging from the current IMDB user rating (8.7), it just might be. Check out the trailer over at Yahoo and watch a constantly confused Anthony Hopkins. He’s got “WFT is happening” all over him - all through the trailer. :)
The trailer for Tim Burtons next movie is out. And Johnny Depp is SINGING! :-D Oh yes I’m looking forward to this one.
Here is the second trailer for the next Coen Brothers film. You understand the storyline a bit better in this one.
It’s not much of a teaser (most of it is audio only and some text), but still… it’s a new one from Brian De Palma, the director of Scarface, Carrie, The Untouchables and many more classics. Redacted is about the war in Iraq and the media covering it. I got a small hunch that this film will evoke a lot of discussions in the US.
For me this is the major film event of the year - the release of Blade Runner Final Cut on DVD and HD. Oh I wish I could see the theatrical release in Los Angeles or New York, but since I don´t live in USA, I will have to settle with the DVD release.
From Michael Haneke, the director of Caché (Hidden), comes an american remake of his own film Funny Games from 1997. George, Anna and their son Georgie are held captive in their own summer house by two psychotic youngsters wearing white gloves.
Directed by Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko), Southland Tales takes place in the near future Los Angeles, set on the brink of disaster. Starring Seann William Scott and Dwayne Douglas (Now that I´m a serious actor, I´ve dropped “The Rock”) Johnson.
There is not much information on IMDB about this next Francis Ford Coppola film, but the teaser do look interesting.

The next movie by the Coen brothers.
