Long before Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire and CGI worth millions of dollars, there was the TV adaptation of Spider-man. Lets go back in time - way back to 1970. Behold! The amazing Spider-man!!

“In order not to offend or horrify those in the audience of a squeamish or prudish disposition… the sound of a bell in the theatre will warn you when to close your eyes or turn away so that you may avoid witnessing certain scenes of an especially erotic or gruesome nature”

Here’s Rudy Ray Moore in another 1970s blaxploitation classic. It’s the followup to Dolemite and it looks even crazier. You just gotta love the voiceover, urging you to see this movie.

Dolemite tries to get his club back with some help from his small army of Kung Fu women.

Chinese Hercules

You have seen trailers for Hercules 1 & 2 and Hercules in New York. But you have never seen anything like this. Chinese Hercules (Ma tou da jue dou) is the superhuman beast of the east. He’s a bone cracker, head crusher, back snapper and body breaker.

Back to the arcade

Lets have a look at classic arcade games. Chasing Ghosts is about the nerd version of a rock star - the arcade game record holder of the 70/80s. The King of Kong is about Billy vs. Steve meeting each other in a deadly match of Donkey Kong. I gotta see both these movies.

The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires

With taglines like, “Hammer Horror! Dragon Thrills! The First Kung Fu Horror Spectacular!”, “Black belt vs. black magic!” and “It’s dynamite!” this movie can’t be bad… And with Peter Chusing as Professor Van Helsing it just must be a serious movie! It’s looks like cult, sound like cult and it’s even feels like cult! Enjoy!

“For a taste of hell”. Based on HG Wells masterpiece of science fiction, this trailer is a masterpiece in bad special effects.

Flesh Gordon

From IMDB: “Emperor Wang (the Perverted) is leader of the planet Porno and sends his mighty “Sex Ray” towards Earth”. I got a very vague feeling I might have seen this pearl as a kid in the 70s or early 80s.
